What to eat depending on your cycle

Our menstrual cycle can guide us on what we could eat, how we exercise or how we approach our work or business.

For example, during your menstruation phase which are the days those women usually bleed heavily during the first to 5th day of the period, it is recommended for the woman to eat warm foods like pumpkin soup, steel cut oatmeal, etc., healthy fats and root veggies. During this time your exercise should be light, gentle and restorative. You might start with relaxation, stretching and yoga poses, deep breathing exercise and stretching. This is the time when you start brainstorming or planning for new business ideas or projects because you are most creative at this time. This is the right time for any business planning. For my menopausal friends out there, this time is during the new moon phase .
