Moving for Fertility

Who in the world was born and said I want to exercise everyday?

I know I didn’t.

However, you don’t need to be a Physical Therapist like me to know that exercise is beneficial to our body.

If you are not an active person, you may start slow and grow.

Start with 15 minutes of exercise 3 times a day. And build up to a daily routine in time.

First do some light aerobic exercise such as a 10-minute brisk walk and a 5-minute bike ride or treadmill ride.

Another way to start is to march in place lifting your legs higher with your knees at hip level for 10 minutes and increase to 15 minutes. If you have a stationary bike, you can ride it while watching TV.

Or better yet ask your husband and children to walk with you earlier in the morning, weather permitting.

Once your heart rate has gone up a bit (breathing heavy and still able to talk), cool down then do your stretches. It’s important to warm up before stretching your muscles to make it easier to stretch those aching joints and muscles (Not the other way around).

Hope these healthful tips help.  If you need more guidance, I am here for you.

WE can do this together.
