Eat and chew food thoroughly
The more you chew your food, the less your stomach works, less energy to digest food and less stress in your system.
Eat fresh, organic fruits and vegetables, grass-fed meat and organic milk from grass fed cows. Home-cooked meals are better.
Avoid processed food, fried greasy food, empty calories, sugar rich food. Eat brain foods like avocado, blueberries, coconut oil, broccoli, leafy greens, wild salmon, eggs, turmeric, walnuts and dark chocolate. (Research immunity defense food)
Vitamin C is antiviral, antibacterial, and antihistamine, boosts antibody production, and improves antibiotic therapy; enjoy papaya, red bell pepper, strawberries, and oranges, plus superfoods like goji berries for a Vitamin C boost.
Vitamin A beta carotene-rich vegetables like carrots, spinach and kohlrabi; Vitamin A can protect against infections, increase white blood cell production.
Zinc and selenium both boost immunity; favorite foods to include to amp up these immune supporting minerals are liver, beef, oysters, scallops, lamb, oats, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds and brazil nuts.
